About Mrs Natalie Macdonald

BSc BCh QTS · NPQML · DTA · ERCB

A highly experienced science educator and neurodiversity specialist offering premium, personalised tutoring for learners of all ages.

With over 20 years of classroom experience teaching 11–18 year olds, three years supporting adult learners in further and higher education, and leadership experience as Head of Chemistry and Vocational Science, Natalie brings exceptional subject knowledge and a proven track record of helping students achieve meaningful, measurable progress.

Educated at Dollar Academy in Scotland (Class of 2000) and the University of Stirling (Class of 2004), where she earned her Biology & Chemistry degree and Diploma in Secondary Education with QTS, Natalie is now advancing her expertise through a Masters in Education (Inclusion and Autism). Her work with the Year 7 pastoral team and transition team has given her deep insight into student wellbeing, confidence building and the challenges learners face during key educational transitions.

As an AuDHD educator, Natalie offers a unique blend of lived experience and professional training, making her particularly effective in supporting neurodiverse students, including those with ADHD, autism, dyslexia and anxiety around learning. She specialises in creating calm, structured and highly personalised learning environments that reduce overwhelm, build resilience through confidence, and unlock each student's potential.

With a reputation for empathy, expertise and outstanding results, Natalie helps students feel understood, capable and proud of their achievements — turning academic challenges into opportunities for growth.

  • Clear, confidence-boosting explanations in Chemistry, Biology and general science
  • Tailored support that respects neurodiversity and individual learning styles
